由年尾(11月ish?)開始睇樓到而家,終於落實7月如無意外將會搬入新屋啦!歷時8個月左右,途中我地都睇咗好多關於mortgage rate/ interest rate嘅變化。

好好彩,我地嘅Mortgage offer係2月左右攞到嘅,嗰陣英倫銀行(Bank of England)嘅Bank rate 由 2023年8月開始調升到嘅5.25%一路都冇變。嗰陣吹風話3-5月就會開始減息,所以嗰陣一堆銀行開始減息。以我地LTV(Loan-to-value)60%,姐係40%首期嘅最佳利率去計,我地嘅Mortgage銀行 Santander就由4.3x%減到3.94%,我地好好彩攞到呢個offer。

二月到而家我地搞買樓嘅手續都搞咗好耐,我都冇認真再去睇過個Mortgage市場嘅新聞。誰不知我一search,不得之了,我地同一個product,with product fee £999,利率已經去到4.47%!用返我個rate去計,比較之下每個月都爭咗70鎊!

真係攞去食咗去冇咁嬲!兩個人出去可以食到餐好嘅!
